| Escribien is a complete word processor. It makes it very easy to type in Spanish & English, and to spell check BOTH languages in the same document. In addition, you can easily type ALL of the Spanish characters on screen, without the need for special keyboards or making annoying configuration changes to Windows. Saves documents in RTF format (easily opened with MS WORD) or plain text (your choice). Will save you a lot of time if you create Spanish (or bilingual) documents on your computer. |

| I was looking for a way to write Spanish characters in a way that was not too difficult or time consuming. Escribien Pro meets that need, and I use this product a lot. For one who uses both the English and Spanish languages this product handles the requirements well. |

| This software is easy to install and use. It's a must have for anyone, students and professionals, who write in Spanish. I easily add Spanish characters right from my keyboard, and I can edit or format documents in Spanish or English. I highly recommend Escribién! |

| The product is easy to use when everything is working. However, I find that it freezes at least once for each document. This means that the program has to be closed out and restarted, losing everything that has not yet been saved. I have not been able to right click copy files for an e-mail. I have to open the file in Microsoft Word, copy it from there and then paste it to an e-mail. The accents, fonts, and text colors are preserved in this way. Yesterday I lost a paragraph from the Escribien page that wasn't saved despite numerous save clicks. It is gone forever. I still use Escribien but am constantly monitoring that I can recover what I have written. If I can find a better Spanish processor I will buy it. |

| About - From the main screen, the power of the product is readily apparent. You can spell-check and translate a word, browse the dictionary, cross-check a translation, view synonyms, antonyms, tense and more. As a standalone program, simply type in a word and its translations appear. The word can be typed in English and have the translation in Hebrew or vice versa. When run in background mode, you highlight a word in your word processor, press the hotkey and the Jerusalem Dictionary window appears with the word already entered into the input box.When a word is misspelled, a list of close words is presented from which to choose the correctly spelled word. The program will let you know if the word is a noun, adjective, pronoun, etc. or possibly several of them at once. A list of same-language antonyms (opposites) appears, making this program worthwhile even if you dont require the Hebrew.Languages and use of expression can be a curious thing. An expression used in English cannot be literally translated word for word into another language and mean the same thing. Jerusalem Dictionary includes a list of thousands of bilingual expressions. Besides antonyms and translations, Jerusalem Dictionary provides a list of synonyms in the language of your choice. Click on any of the synonyms the translation and antonym appear automatically. It is possible to add to Jerusalem Dictionarys already extensive dictionary. Jerusalem Dictionary conjugates verbs using over 8,000 tables of fully conjugated Hebrew and English verbs. The full list of Hebrew verbs can be displayed and scrolled. Use this system to help translate websites, business documents, school work and research. | One of the web sites shows sample screen views, which show that this dictionary does not display vowel points or Hebrew pronunciation, making it useless to a non Hebrew-fluent user. |
